Canadian Experience Class (CEC) - Express Entry Program#

The Canadian Experience Class is tailored for individuals with Canadian work experience who wish to become permanent residents.

Overview#

The CEC program targets skilled workers who have recent Canadian work experience and want to settle permanently in Canada.

Eligibility for Temporary Workers and Graduates: Suitable for those who have worked in Canada on a temporary basis.
No Educational Credential Requirement: Unlike other programs, specific educational qualifications are not mandatory.
Faster Integration: Prior Canadian work experience facilitates quicker adaptation and integration.

To qualify under the CEC program, you must meet the following requirements:

Work Experience: At least 12 months of full-time (or equivalent part-time) skilled work experience in Canada within the past three years.
Language Ability: Minimum language proficiency of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs, and CLB 5 for NOC B jobs.
Plan to Live Outside Quebec: The CEC is a federal program; applicants must plan to reside outside the province of Quebec.
Admissibility: Must pass security, criminal, and medical checks.

Create an Express Entry Profile: Include your Canadian work experience.
Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA): Based on your CRS score.
